Product Description

Three years ago, brilliant student Steve Brinkley was dismissed in disgrace from M.I.T. and charged with numerous federal crimes for a naive mistake in judgment. It made national news for days. The charges were eventually dropped, but the damage had been done: no other reputable school would touch him. Eventually a small college in southern Illinois gave him a second chance and now he hopes to salvage his reputation by winning an engineering competition. Together, he and three other students create and patent a new manufacturing process which will undoubtedly revolutionize all manufacturing worldwide. But an ownership rights battle erupts. At the height of the controversy, one of the students is brutally murdered and the only suspect appears to be Steve. His only chance is to find the real killer before the authorities find him.

5.0 out of 5 stars As expected another winner from Sylvester!, August 13, 2009
He showed up on the radar with The Descent, showing he had the talent to spin a tale and keep you interested. Once the Hohmann Transfer arrived you realized Tom Sylvester could not only develop a plot and keep you interested but did his homework in keeping the scientific facts straight.

What I now consider his best work The Bernoulli Award is a winner.

The entire book moves with an energy seldom seen when one uses science as part of the plot. Sylvester has figured out how to corner the market on making geeks of the his readers in a way that makes it impossible to put the book down. Getting to the last page becomes a mission that ends with the knowledge there will be more from this author in the future.

The best response to this book is to do a happy dance and hope that Sylvester has another one as good still in him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tom Sylvester creates the new aerospace suspense genre, July 28, 2009
Tom has done it again!
Bernoulli Award is the fast paced, action packed thriller we've come to expect from Tom and I just can't wait until they turn it into a movie.
Like many of his fans we're already looking forward to his next novel.
