Great books! We have been reading these to our kindergartener as bedtime chapter books. She's currently reading at a mid/late 1st grade level. I'm not sure whether she could read these on her own yet (I tend to think the length/complexity might be a bit daunting), but she's been loving having us read them to her.

Because it has taken a LOT of searching for me to figure out exactly which books are in each set (at this point in time, they're not all listed here individually), I thought I'd try to save someone else the trouble:

It appears (based on publication dates) that Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg 'starts' this series. It is NOT included in any of the box sets. I do know that references to this book are mentioned in at least some of the books in the box sets.

Box Set 1:
The Trouble with Tink
Vidia and the Fairy Crown
Beck and the Great Berry Battle
Lily's Pesky Plant

Tales From Pixie Hollow 2:
Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon
Fira and the Full Moon
A Masterpiece for Bess
Prilla and the Butterfly Lie

It also seems that Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand fits between box set #2 and box set #3, at least based on publication dates. I don't know if there are references to it in the later books, or how it truly 'fits' in the series yet - I'll try to remember to update when we've read that far!).Read more ›

I bought these books for my 4 year old girl because she loves fairies. She enjoys listening to the stories even though there aren't pictures on all of the pages. I think these books are great to transition into more advanced books that have fewer pictures. We love them!

This is a great set of books. I have a 4yr old and she loves to sit at night and read a new chapter. They are wonderful and bring a whole new world to kids. I am very happy with this.

My daughter loves to read and I love the price for bundled books. Wish the rest of the series were bundled. She has already read Bundles 1-4 over 2 months! She was only 7 but she just couldn't stop reading. So if you child loves Tinkerbell and friends, I recommend these as a great read! They are fun, exciting, and the vocabulary is pretty advanced for younger readers. So it is good for advancing their vocabulary.

My daughter received several of the Disney Fairies books from a friend who was finished reading them and absolutely loved them. We have been reading the chapters for her bedtime story each night and all of the books have been a big hit. She just finished Kindergarten, but she is already a very strong reader and has been reading these on her own because she loves them so much. There are some challenging words, but it is really helping to improve her reading skills even more. I purchased this set to accompany the other Fairies books that she already had and she has been really excited to read them. This is the first set and is a great introduction to this series. Highly Recommended.

Please note: Just one word of caution if you are buying this set used from Amazon (or any book set for that matter). I had to purchase this set a total of three times from different used book sellers on Amazon because the first two included the wrong books. In each of the first two sets, one of the books was missing and a book from a different set was included. My daughter was very disappointed the first two times when they had to be returned, but we finally found a complete set. So if you are buying these books used, make sure to check the set you receive to make sure the correct books are included.
