5.0 out of 5 stars excellent and informative, March 30, 2007
I bought this book for my daughter for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. She is a relatively new reader and she found it easy to understand. I enjoyed reading it too. I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in the Titanic, who doesn't want to get too technical but still is interested in the history of the great ship.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for children, July 3, 2000
This review is from: Eyewitness: Titanic (Hardcover)
My 4 1/2 year old son loved this book. The facts were very interesting. He spends a lot of time looking at each picture and remembers the facts as I have read this book to him several times. Each time through it he finds different things to keep him excited. I would say it's his favorite book right now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Titanic from DK Eyewitness Books, May 7, 2007
My friend's 10 yr old son has been obsessed by anything relating to this disaster. He was thrilled to receive the book as a gift for Easter. He found it informative and interesting. I have purchased other titles in this series, new or used. They have all arrived in a timely fashion and excellent condition. I would consider purchasing other titles. Pat

This book gives the most childish facts. I guess to a young child who only began his/her interest in Titanic might find this book as a good start, otherwise it is pointless buying... Read more
