Reviews of this product are accurate but definitely buy a level above our child's education. The stated age recommendations are just too easy and do not challenge your child. One level above usually mixes tings that they know vs some harder elements that will help them learn.

If you follow that one rule, this is a 5 star product that is fun and is a great educational tool. Its compact size plus genius plastic hinge keeps everything compact and easy to take around.

In the age of portable electronic devices, its nice to see a good old fashioned product like this that can keep the kids entertained just as well.

For some reason, the decks themselves say ages 4-5, rather than 5-6. Can't figure out why since the box (which was sealed)says Kindergarten 5-6. Content is way too easy for my 5 y.o. Disappointed...

These are perfect to stick in your bag and take everywhere! Any time you are out with your child and need to wait around for things, or if you are making dinner and hanging out in the kitchen, whatever, these are fantastic to pull out and have a quick lesson!
The pictures are cute and easy to read, and the fact that they're attached together makes life much less difficult for me!

Bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter and my almost 6 year old grandson. They both like them.
It promotes good thinking skills and the kids enjoy them and like the colorful pictures.

My daughter likes these.. We run through these cards at night before bed. Having them connected is handy for that. But I do prefer the flash card type for our regular learning. Nothing wrong with these by any means, I'd just say I prefer the focused flash cards - by that I mean I can get number ones, alphabet, phonics, etc. This is sort of a mixed bag.. So certainly has it's place. Get both types if you can.

My kid loves this. It's interactive and he wants to do more and more of the quizzes.

As others have pointed out, the "kindergarten" level works well for kids who are a little younger.

I highly recommend these to any parents. These Q&A games make a nice alternative to reading books to your kids, and they're also really good ways to spend some "in between" time.

One of the things my son definitely learned directly from these Brain Quests is what a "pattern" means. Several of the Q&A segments show pictures in a sequence (such as two apples, a banana, two apples, and then a blank spot) and ask the child to figure out what should come next. My son now relates the idea of a sequence or pattern to things in the real physical world, and I know he got that concept from Brain Quest. Really cool.

He also loves the hidden pictures, the mazes, the "find items that start with this letter" pictures, and so on.

My main complaint with this product is that there aren't more BrainQuest items available at my son's 3 1/2 year level. If they had multi-packs of these things, instead of just one set per grade level, I would probably buy all of them.

My kids love BrainQuest! We bought this one for my 3 year old and it's perfect for him! We already had the pre-K and they were getting too easy so we bought this one for Christmas and he loves it! A few of the questions are a little more difficult for him but most of them are just right! We use this a lot, he is always asking me to ask him questions from it!

I skipped the Pre-K set because of the reviews (basically, if you've used the age 4 Molly Mouse set then your kid will probably not be super challenged or entertained by the preK Panda set) and have not been disappointed.

My child, however, is a completist and is clamoring for the preK set merely because he sees that we skipped it. I will not give in :)

These do have some more K levels stuff with basic math and money but it gives me a chance to introduce the concepts. Coin money is pretty foreign to my 4 year old - it's not the same as when I was growing up!
