I just set this up for the new year, and it is a little bit bigger than I expected (the pages are just under 5.5" square and the plastic backer is 6" square). It is printed in color on nice paper (not the newspaper-like stuff that other calendars are printed on).

It has a trivia question on the front of each page, with the answer and tips on how to search for the answer online, on the page of each page (the weekends are combined onto one page, but there are still two questions).

There is space at the bottom for you to write in your answer, and there is space to the right of the questions for you to write in notes or appointments.

You also get a code for an additional Page-a-Day calendar for free via email (it gets emailed to you every day - you don't actually get another one mailed to you), so it is a good value.

It's ironic that questions designed for Google had so little fact-checking done. Starting with January 1, the question is what part of the US is closer to China than Auckland, NZ is. The correct answer is the entire west coast, plus Guam, Samoa, Hawaii and a few other places. Their answer is the western-most Aleutian Island. January 9 says the NFL changed the field goal points in 1904 from what to 4? Their answer is 5, which is correct except that the NFL was founded in 1920. And like most of the 9 questions I've read so far, that answer comes from a single source like a Wikipedia article, no Googling required.

This calendar is full of daily brain teasers and mental scavenger hunts. I try to figure out the best search query to get me to the answer I need. My advice is to read the question carefully and dig more deeply than the the first answer in the search results. I use it as a break in my day, otherwise, some of the questions are difficult enough to feel like homework!

Our kids love this daily calendar. Each page has a different question with information that will guide you in doing your google search to find the answer. Our kids have had fun doing the searches and are learning something in the process. There have been a couple that we didn't find the answer, but we still learned along the way!

This product is really designed for those who do not already know how to do a google search. My husband was not fond of it.
