Large book with colorful filled with mix images of Peppa Pig's family going on holiday and other family activities from different episodes from Season 1 through 4. My 2 year old daughter is still too young to sit through while I read the whole story but she loves looking at the pictures over and over again while I summarize it page for her. She recognizes the pictures from the episodes and we even use this book to play "I spy" which helps builds her vocabulary.

Peppa and her family are off to a sunny vacation. Grandma and Grandpa Pig are at home taking care of the family goldfish: Goldie. Peppa wonders how Goldie is doing. But she's having a great time swimming, enjoying a picnic and sending a post card to Grandma and Grandpa.

Although her vacation was full of fun - a mom got a great gift for the Grandparents - what happened to Goldie? Goldie looks different than when Peppa and her family left.

This is an amusing book - especially like the ant parade at the picnic. Peppa Pig fans will enjoy the lively story and funny illustrations. 4.5 stars

For those unfamiliar with Peppa Pig phenomenon, this cute little pig is big star in United Kingdom, has her own TV series, toys, picture books and other products, as is usually the case in such franchises.

In this latest Peppa’s story ‘Peppa Pig and the Great Vacation’ whole Pig family – Mummy, Daddy, Peppa and George – are going to vacation, to hot and sunny seaside.

And because Peppa’s beloved pet, Goldie the goldfish, can’t go with them, Granny and Grandpa Pig will take care of her while family is gone. And though from grandparents can be expected they will take good care because they are reliable, it seems that they two understood their task maybe even too serious…

‘Peppa Pig and the Great Vacation’ is another title in Peppa Pig child book series that provides simple narrative for young reader while the provided artwork in form of digital illustrations offers nice pictures full of color that will have appeal on reader from 3 years and above.

Therefore, this picture book will surely be met with joy by the fans of the series, while those who will first for the first time meet with Peppa Pig it certainly will not be the last picture with this cute character.

The Peppa Pig stories are a group of books based off the Nick Jr. television series of the same name. In PEPPA PIG AND THE GREAT VACATION, Peppa, her brother George, Mummy, and Daddy go on a vacation. Peppa leaves her pet goldfish with her Grandpa and Granny. On vacation Peppa and her family go for a walk, have a picnic, and spend a day at the beach. The story is pretty short, but sure to delight fans of Peppa Pig.
