I bought this for my daughter in England as a surprise gift. From the moment we put it on, she loved it! Almost every day she asks for the "Bop Book" and I happily oblige. It's a wonderful book and CD to get your preschooler away from the t.v. and into some exercise!

I recommend this book to music teachers who teach young children and preschool and pre-k teachers for a few reasons:

1. Gets kids moving and feeling the beat
2. Lets kids be silly while exploring their acting skills and the characteristics of lots of animals
3. Kids will love it and ask for it time and time again!

I used this book in my preschool and pre-k music classes and the kids asked for it every week! You don't need a music background to teach this book just pop in the cd and call out the animals and show them the pictures (and demonstrate some animal dances to get them started) The kids will do the rest and they will have a blast! And you will be teaching rhythm, beat, acting skills, and about animals!

I teach students with autism. This book is a huge hit with them! I have used it every week for over a year and they are now singing along with it and request it all the time! It is engaging, dynamic and interactive!

I bought several cd/books to play in my daycare classroom and this is by far the worst of the lot. It is read/sung in an accent that is very hard to understand and the kids did not care for it at all. I actually sent a request in to return it for a refund or exchange and Amazon said we will refund your money but don't bother sending it bck. LOL Guess they don't want it either.
