This book was really good. I loved the authors' honesty and advice and what they said rang true. Definitely want to follow their teaching because it really is the way God treats us. The reason I dropped this review to four stars is that I feel that the information could have been conveyed a bit more succinctly. Lots of good information, sometimes hard to get through though. Thanks for wonderful advice that you are not just using in your family but are sharing with others so we can hopefully bless ours as well!

I really enjoyed reading and learning from this book. True that it may convict you buy it also encourages you you want to be a better parent. I only wish my husband had/would read it.

This book encourages parents to be involved and approachable. The authors were very open about mistakes they had made as parents, yet they have a close relationship with their adult children. I would have given the book 5 stars, except I cannot agree with the authors regarding corporal punishment.
