Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Grade 4-6 It's science fair time again, and after last year's disastrous exploding volcano, Nutty wants to enter a super terrific project. He enlists the help of his ``genius'' friend William, who is currently interested in the behavior of photons and has some interesting theories that he would like to try out, but not on himself. The experiment gets a little out of hand when Nutty begins to glow in the dark and develops a decidedly different personality. After the photon experiment, Nutty can hear plants and animals and empathize with their feelings. He deeply loves all living things; his friends, on the other hand, think he has completely lost his mind. The crucial question is, will William be able to reverse the experiment? This is another hilarious, well-written addition to the stories of Nutty and his friends. Anyone who has ever wanted to really make an impression at a science fair, or maybe just show up his classmates, will thoroughly enjoy Nutty's latest adventure. Nancy P.
