We wanted a large wall map that would be durable enough to withstand kids touching it, but which wouldn't cost a fortune. This map was the perfect option. It is definitely large -- it doesn't take up the whole wall, but it is WAY bigger than a typical poster. The lamination is well done, which should keep the map protected. It is very shiny, so if you are putting it up in a room that gets a lot of direct sunlight you will want to take that into consideration.

This is an excellent world map. Working in education I became accustomed to having a variety of world maps around me. I never realized how often I referenced one until I retired. After much searching I chose this one based on the reviews, the size, and the "zoom" technique of the map displayed so I could see the details before purchasing. The map arrived the next day and I was/am impressed by everything. It's perfectly laminated, came rolled securely in a plastic sleeve and was packed well in a cardboard shipping tube with paper stuffing to hold it in place. (Great job, packer!) The map itself is just the right color and the text is sharp and easy to read. Now I can re-file the folded world map that came in my National Geographic Magazine and enjoy this larger version.

The map was exactly what I was looking for. I bought it to hang on our Sunday School wall to help the children see where missionaries we support are working. It is colorful and looks nice. I was confused by some reviews that said it came in multiple pieces. It came in one piece and was easy to hang on the wall.

The map came through amazon in a big box with lots of packing so there wasn't a dent on it. The map itself is very nicely laminated. Since we are a military family I bought it to help my daughter understand that all of our family live in different places and sometimes daddy is on the other side of the world. The lamination allows us to put pictures of family near there locations and move them around when need be. Wish the land areas were a little bigger but no big deal. It serves its purpose well.

I bought this map to replace my current paper one that is not laminated. This is way better because i can circle my destinations with whiteboard markers and easily wipe them off thereafter. The fonts are super clear and high-definition, even for the tiny ones. The small fonts is one thing which most other maps fail to print properly. I bought this map because it is by Nat Geo and i trust its quality. I wasn't disappointed when i received it. It is thinly laminated but still good quality and carefully rolled up and shipped to me in an Amazon box full of paper stuffings to protect it from shipping damage. It unrolled well and it did not have strong rolls that hindered me putting it up on my wall. Now i am so happy looking at it each time i walk past my wall. I recommend this medium sized map to anyone who wants one!

This World Classic Wall Map will enable my grandchildren to see where their father is deployed and where their relatives live. I was a bit disappointed that the map was printed on flimsy paper and thought it would be more durable. The map is going to be framed and hung on the wall so it won't get torn.
