This book was terrific. It takes something every kid loves - chocolate - and gives them a little history lesson on how it was created. My second grade son thought it was very interesting. He thought it was cool to learn about how monkeys discovered cocoa beans and about how companies like Hershey got started. My 4th grade son even decided to read it on his own, because he was interested in the topic, even though the book was below his reading level. We've read many Usborne readers and this was a favorite. Also, the chocolate sauce recipe in the back of the book is delicious (put it on ice cream or strawberries)!!
