We have a lovely Eric Carle decorated Hungry Caterpillar bathroom for our daughter. To sort of top it all off we picked these decals to make it even cooler. The problem is the adhesive on the back of the decals is terrible so decals pop up, fall off, and make it less cooler. The decals themselves look great, just don't count on them sticking to anything short of using Crazy Glue.

PROS: They are cute in the book.
CONS: The adhesive is terrible. Really really terrible.

I love these decals but they won't stay on the wall! The butterfly and the caterpillar come bent in the package and immediately bubble off of the wall at the crease. The sun is not bent in the package and takes a little longer to fall off but still does within 24 hours. I am so disappointed!

i love eric carle art. we put these in our bathroom, and after one steamy shower, some of the colors began to run. i was able to clean most of it off the white walls, but you can still see faint traces.

These were hard to smooth out, as they come folded and the creases were still evident in some of them after I put them up. Also, they only lasted a week before they started peeling off and needing to be re-stuck up every few days. I have had them for six months now and have ended up throwing half of them away because they no longer stick. These shouldn't be called decals, they are just stickers.

These wall decals are very cute, but don't stick to the wall properly. Just as another reviewer mentioned, there is a fold down the middle of the caterpillar and the butterfly which causes the decal to flip up and not stick to the wall. I would not recommend this item.

I got these for my son's 2nd birthday party. After reading the reviews, I knew that they came packaged such that the larger decals were folded. Some reviewers mentioned that the tack wasn't strong enough to hold the folded decals on the wall, and they're right. Because I was only using these for a party, it wasn't too big of a deal, but one side of the caterpillar had to be pushed back on the wall the entire time the decorations were up. (The butterfly would have done this as well, but I had it stuck to a mirror and the glass surface held better than the wall.) This would be a very big deal if you were trying to decorate a room with these long-term.

Just as other reviewers said, the larger decals don't stick well at all - the butterfly and caterpillar barely stayed up for 5 minutes. I thought pressing them flat for a day or so before hanging might make a difference, but it didn't. Now, about a week after hanging, even the smaller fruits and circles are starting to peel off. Sad to say, since they're so cute, but definitely not a good purchase.

Cute stickers. They do come folded & the caterpillar & butterfly are actually folded in half. I put them between books which seemed to flatten them out well. They have been on the wall for a year now & are still sticking well.
