Excellent book. All the information you need for emergency cases, including some pathophysiology, treatment protocols and client communication points. Comprehensive, dense format is plain but very practical. In the future, a true e book with video links, color photos, etc would be great

Caveat - I have only had an initial look through this book and looked up a handful of things.
The formatting/layout in this text is one of the worst examples I have seen in vet texts in recent years. Blocks and blocks of undifferentiated text. To make matters worse the titles for new topics and subtopics are all quite similar in font style/size. Overall, looking things up from the index is slower than it should be - particularly given the nature of the book!
I expected quickly accessible flowcharts and diagrams - and other aids for the stressed vet trying to find urgent answers and protocols in emergency situations.

This book contains a lot of good information. The writing and flow charts are not easy to follow. There were pages missing from the index of my copy of the book. There are better books out there.
