This book was very helpful for preparing for the Praxis II Art Exam and would probably be great for the AP Art History exam. The book covers many art and architecture traditions of different ancient societies in Mexico and South America, relating relevant history. The second part of the book covers the development of Western influence, relating art-periods such as Rococo, Romanticism, Modernism etc with respect towards the influence of indigenous traditions. Easy and fun to read - an excellent resource for anyone interested in exploring art and culture on vacation to Mexico or South America or for school projects. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
