I have loved alligators and crocodiles for as long as I can rememeber. (As a child, I drove my parents crazy with requests for our family to move to Miami where I could be near the alligators!) Gail Gibbons is absolutely brilliant. This book captures the fascination and joy these huge reptiles have always held for me. I have several of her books, and love them all, but she has absolutely outdone herself on this one! It is one of my favorite books of all time. I love to read it for the sheer joy it brings. Brilliant job!

I love Gail Gibbons' books and this one is no exception. However, the pages fall out with the first use. I purchased 6 of these books for my class reading groups and they all fell apart. I would not recommend buying them.
