This book has helped me save a lot of money and time when dealing with my 2006 A4 Quattro. It had detailed instructions, electrical schematics AND pictures. Even if I don't actually have the time to do the work myself I would still be able to read this book and know enough so that the dealership wouldn't be able to rip me off.

This is the best publication for auto repair you can get without going to trades school. They are way way expensive and I hate that. BUT when you think about how much a auto garage charges per hour.. just doing one repair yourself will save you the cost of this book. I now own 3 of these books for different vehicles. They are really technical, but they explain what they mean and most anyone with basic understanding and who has the patience to read through the whole thing can figure it out.

Great books. very highly recommended.

Product is as described, brand new, still wrapped hardcover Bentley manual for my b7 Audi. Bentley manuals, especially in paper form, are the best thing to have in your car or garage. First off they offer the most comprehensive repair procedures around. The DVD's that sell for a few bucks cheaper are only good for reference. I dont carry around my laptop with me when I work on my car, I certainly don't want dirt, oil or other fluids getting on my laptop. So while the Bentley manual run for $100, there is nothing better that this for your informational needs.

This Book while detailed in some aspects does not go into other things that one would hope would be in there. There is no Diagrams for basic things such as engine cooling systems, Flush instructions, pump replacement and that's about it, there are many things that are missed. Transmission section is scarce for the Automatics although there is an extensive section on repair of the cabriolet top??? I had to buy another book for the transmission and found more information about the cooling system and its routing on the web. If you are looking to to do basic maintenance this is for you, if you really want to be able to service every aspect of the car pay for the factory service manual.

I'm not impressed with this repair manual. Everything that I've needed help with, this manual didn't have or fell short. I mean, come on man, I wanted instructions on how to change the timing chain and tensioner and it did't have it. I wanted to learn how to remove and replace the window trim - NOT.

I guess the wiring diagrams are good, but I found them hard to follow, and I'm an electrical engineer!

A detailed manual for a complex machine. IMNSHO The book is worth every penny spent on it. For a simpler car $20 Haynes would work.
For A4 it absolutely won't so plunk the dough if you plan to work on the car OR have some understanding of what the service
is going to do with it and why are you spending $$$ to pay other folks to do that very service.

Bentley manuals are some of the best in the industry. Professional mechanics use these to work on cars. they can be a little difficult to understand, but if you have a good knowledge of mechanics, you can follow it just fine.

This is truly a great source of information, particularly if you need torque values for the different fasteners. However, it leaves you a bit lacking when you're looking for certain things, like changing engine/transmission mounts. I find that supplementing it with DIYs on a site like Audizine or AudiForums is really the way to go. Needless to say, it's invaluable to have, and much easier to page through than the DVD version
