I have had many "Mad Libs" Books and this is one of the best ones. I laugh for each one I do. When I finish the book I erase the pages and start over again. It takes at least 2 people to make this book really fun. 1 person tells the adjectives, nouns, etc. and 1 person writes them down and reads the "short" story. What you do is for each "short story" you will have to write down an adjective, noun, adverb or whatever it tells you (you make one up) and when you do all the verbs and etc you fill in the blanks with them and the story will be hilarious every time!

What's not to like about this mad libs books. My kids are 6 and they love it. It really helps them learn about grammer too. Fun for parents as well!

It seemed strange at first to order this from Amazon. I usually pick them up at a store. But, it's the perfect thing to put you over the top for free shipping. As always, it's a good lesson in parts of speech for kids and they love seeing how far they can push the envelope with the words before I give them that look that means to keep it clean. Can't go wrong with this simple game to play with your kids.

These have not lost anything with the decades. We usually save these for drives like when I was a kid, but we played a few this evening and they are so much fun.. Played with a 5 yo and an 8 yo... So much fun and good learning too as well.

I remember using as a child and how much I loved it. Bought for my 7 year old and she can't get enough. And she is learning the meaning of nouns, verbs, adjectives - etc. When your kids are LEARNING - AND having fun..........how can you go wrong? There is also an option to play by themselves when you are too busy by using the words on upper page and filling in the blanks themselves.

Mad Libs! My 9 and 5 year old are learning and having fun with these. "What's a plural noun?" the little one asks. The older one provides a definition and they work out the answers together. Both learn and have fun doing it. The results are funny. Both kids are getting a lot out of these.

Mom and dad are also having fun and being asked to "do a MadLib" isn't a bad thing.

Highly Recommend.

My eight year old thinks this is the best thing in the entire world and my two boys laugh SO hard when they read these out loud. There is nothing better than hearing little kids belly laugh. Mad Libs does it.
