This is a great book for someone looking for repair or maintenance information. It's devided by brand and categories. The book contains wiring diagrams, instructions to part and install everything & tuning instructions. The more complicated procedures are illustrated in black & white with photos or illustrations. For the amount of information, it's well worth the money.

Very good book if you plan on working on vintage snowmobiles or as a resource to learn more about how they work. Not all models are here for the years covered for example there is no information on my 72 Nordic or Alpine but my 72 TNT is in there so I only gave it four (4) stars but it really does not matter because the information is relevant anyways as most of these old sleds are built pretty much the same with only minor differences that you can easily figure out but you will need other references for plugs and other things for models not covered in the book. This is not a table top vintage sled book with lots of pictures and history of sledding this is a repair and maintenance manual and it has lots of great tips to make repair jobs easier, written in lay-mans terms that I can even follow. So go ahead and buy it as a sole repair maintenance book or to back up your existing manufacturers manuals.

This book doesn't assume you know every thing there is to know about snowmobile repair and takes you through many different processes in a way you can understand. IT has step by step instructions and numbered photos and illustrations to guide you through repairs you can do, and tells you the ones that are best left to the experts. There are many tips and shortcuts delivered in a, that makes sense way, to save you time and money on vintage snowmobile repairs. Even if you decide not to pick up the wrenches, it's nice to know what's involved.
