Very good text. It is hard to find a textbook that focuses on the bible itself. This book is challenging for sixth graders but the text it replaced would have a 25 page chapter with 2 pages on the scripture and the rest on application and "activities". This is a great application of modern biblical scholarship. I recommend highly.

Fantastic Old Testament textbook.

Fantastic book. This incited a great love for certain OT figures, particularly the women of the OT. It explained so much to my oldest children. My youngest is working through it now, and is learning a great deal. I love this resource for teaching the OT. Very easy to grade as well.
