Legendary philatelic author's anecdotal book of lessons and stories to collect stamps by, third and final of a new series of three. All the books in this series as well his earlier material are unusually entertaining as well as the informed opinions of a widely regarded professional. His 1999 Obituary is still online at NY times if you search for it.
