This so-called "Ddogbook" [sic] by "bredle" is probably the worst literary work of any kind I have ever had the misfortune of reading. First of all, I received it as a gift from someone I hate. Second, there is only one page. Seriously, it's one page, and it doesn't even have a cover, it's just a piece of printer paper covered with childish pictures of dogs drawn with scented markers. Amazon apparently just threw the paper in the box so it came crumpled. When I opened the box the concentrated markerscents overwhelmed me and I lost consciousness for somewhere between 2 and 5 hours. After I woke up and put my soiled clothes in the laundry I sat down and tried, without success, to make sense of bredle's illegible scrawlings through my pounding headache. I hated this book so much I actually hurled it into the toilet and s.hit my lunch (shrimp) onto it before flushing it into permanent watery oblivion. Anyway, if you are still reading this I strongly advise you not to buy this "book" by a clearly illiterate and retarded author.

This brendle book is pretty good. The important thing is to really get the brendle experience ya gotta have a good chair, maybe even 2 good chairs. The chair is what makes the book. brendle. chairs.

I bought Radio Fragments because the author, Mark Brendle, is a well-known humorist online. Be warned that this book contains very little comedy. In this respect, Radio Fragments resembles Mr. Brendle's Blogspot writings more than his Twitter account or forums postings.

Mr. Brendle chose not to take the product description seriously, leaving it up to us reviewers to describe his own work. Radio Fragments is a book of prose poetry. There is one poem per page. Since the pages are much bigger than the poems, each page is mostly empty space. If the book were normal poems, this wouldn't be an aesthetic issue, but instead the prose poems are formatted as ordinary full-width paragraphs in the middle of an otherwise empty page. Because of all this blank space, my first impression was that the book is physically too large for its content. The sans-serif typeface adds to this air of amateurism. More attention to these details would definitely have made a better book.

I deeply appreciate Mark Brendle's sense of humor, but I find myself struggling to get through Radio Fragments. I bought it because I wanted to support Mr. Brendle. I certainly recognize the artistic merit of Radio Fragments, and I appreciate the talent required to produce such a work. However, I cannot honestly say that I enjoy this book. At best, Radio Fragments strikes me as an interesting perspective into the mind of someone whose sense of humor I've enjoyed for many years.

I do not doubt that there is an audience for Radio Fragments. Personally, I would not have bought this book if I weren't already familiar with the author.

An excellent piece of literature. Deep and existential. A rarity in today's media which is anti-thought provoking. The vocabulary was a little over my head, but that's the only way to expand I suppose. I highly recommend it.
