It's the required textbook for my ECON1020 (Macro) class at Tulane U. It has good material, but this version does not have an Aplia access code, which is also required for my class. So I had to return it.

Like the title says, this has about the same information as the previous edition (fifth) but has some more recent examples in the text. I got this shipped new by amazon, and the book came with some small scuffs and a few small creases on the corner pages. It's not a big deal, but I have ordered new books from amazon and they don't usually look this handled.

Wherever I purchased this book from sent me the teachers' edition and I didn't realize it until the first day of class. It's not a big deal but it's still a little irritating because now I don't have the same page numbers as everything else. If it said teachers' edition I must have missed it because it had the same ISBN?

To be honest, I think the newest edition of Macroeconomics published by Pearson is better for a starter in economics. But this one is what my professor required.
