Not being the most technically endowed, this book answered all the questions I had about the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet and more! As new to tablets this book runs circles around the instruction book, explains procedures in detail how to use the Galaxy 10.1 giving tips & a little humor. Book has many pictures some colored & many illustrations. I would recommend this book. Suggested retail $24.99 US on back cover.

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from a dealer and took it home with the hope of customer service the store promised. The tech support does not cover how to use the tablet. My mistake.
So I bought Dan Gookin's "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for Dummies" which Amazon sells, thinking to teach myself. Turns out I'm a bigger dummy than I thought. This book is for the first version of the Samsung tablet. The Galaxy Tab 2(!) 10.1 has a lot of things different. If you have a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, this book is NOT for you. It won't help you very much at all. There is no version out covering the Tab 2. I'm getting rid of the book for Dummies I bought. Remember, the Tab 2 is also very different from the Galaxy Note tablet.

I have had my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for nine months and have enjoyed it very much. Even though I am computer savvy I figured there might be aspects of the tablet I needed to know more about.

This book is very informative and very simply written. Even a novice should find this book easy to maneuver. While I was familiar with most things covered, there were still a few things that were new to me.

If you have a 10.1 tablet this will most likely bring you some tidbits of valuable info.

FYI-the original Galaxy Tab 10.1 in September 2012 had a major update which changed some settings, wallpapers, etc. and this book does not cover those changes. However, it does not make the book obsolete.

My kids bought me the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and i knew nothing about how they worked. I have had it for 6 mos and use it to go online and check news etc. I also play some games and have downloaded books to read, but I knew I was not taking advantage of all it could offer. When I got the book, i figured that i would read it from front to back BUT as i started reading i would get interested in something and then skip to another chapter to read about it. Crazy, but I have been all over the book with tabs sticking out everywhere. So much info I am glad I ordered this book and if you are like me -- I am sure you will enjoy it too.
