This book is full of information, and I trust my school chose a good book to get this certification. It's easy to make sense of what he says and the review at the end of each chapter is good as well. One thing I don't like is my teacher spotted a place or 2 with incorrect information. Normally I wouldn't care because we all make mistakes. However, this problem was pretty elementary (Figure 1-1 is incorrect. Data is stored to RAM, which then is quickly accessed by the CPU)

Book arrived with some damage but it was to the cover and not the inner pages. This is a blessing in paper form, I just wish it was priced a little lower if you wanted to own it. I rented mine but If I find a decent price to buy I will definitely buy it.

It's Ok and the text book I need. Don't care for, but don't really mind all the underlining and notes, but I'm really not happy about the smell. Someone really perfumed this book! I'm have allergies. Perfume is a migraine trigger. I'm sure when I'm stressed studying for my tests, I'll have a problem. Never considered this with a rental. Figured there might be underlining and dogeared pages, but stinky? BUMMER!

This book of course was used for a college class, so no one really likes any college text book. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the publishers seemed to take the older version and make some adjustments to update the info from Windows XP, to Windows 7. A major problem was with the review questions. There were questions in the book that went as such:
"Select from the best options below:
(....) "
The publishers failed to print the "below options." There was no text to select from. It was just a fowl play on their part.
