This is obviously intended as a cash-in by the RSC. But don't let that scare you away. The correct attribution should be, "Others, with some possible minor contributions by Shakespeare." The book is basically a revised edition of "The Shakespeare Apocrypha," which came out in the early 1900s. Many of these plays appeared in the third and fourth folio, though why they were is a mystery, since scholars have never thought Shakespeare wrote them, except possibly a few scenes here and there. The "other" writers are mostly anonymous, which is a shame, as there is actually some good writing here. Worth picking up if you want a bunch of plays from the era under one cover, without much editorial apparatus, ranging from the fairly well-known like "The Spanish Tragedy" to the obscure.
