Product Description

Soul Mates?
What - ifs...
Lifelong connections.
A great summer beach read.
Strength and Spirit.
Simply Magical.

When challenges were overcome, I cheered. When tears were shed, I cried. When love was lost, I grabbed the tissue box and settled in for a good ball! Callinsky's words wrapped my heart with silken fingers and pulled me right along her road to emotional freedom.
~ Summer Banks (5 stars)

This book was written with tender love and attention. You'll find yourself crying, laughing, and getting mad right alongside her. And at the end of it, you'll realize you gained a friend as well.
~Anita Steward UK (5 stars)

Cindy is a likable, but not humble hipster who enjoys football, rock music and the night life. This book has a subtle way of wrapping you in to where you are saying "Cindy, don't", or "way to go, Cindy". There is something in this book that everyone can relate to.
~Mike Barer of the Barer's of Maple Valley (5 stars)

From the Back Cover

Rear View Mirror is an autobiography that reads like a high-quality chick lit work of fiction. It is the amazing story of a woman's journey to find family wherever life takes her.

After the tragic loss of her mother and the later loss of her true love she ends up in a painful marriage that results in the real love of her life, her son.

Written in the first-person, you often find yourself feeling exactly how Cindy feels in those pivotal moments of her life. I found myself laughing, crying, and feeling just like I had found a friend in the book.

We are all often haunted by those "what-ifs" that might have been, and the authors pursuit to settle it once and for all is simply magical.

Anyone who has ever pondered on that moment that might have changed their life should read this book. You will be glad you did.
~Patsy Salyers

Rear View Mirror will touch the soul of anyone who has ever loved and lost. This remarkable book deals with the complex issues of family ties and losing people that we care about.

It will make you laugh, cry, and it will remind you to cherish those in your life who mean the world to you.

It's a gal's kind of read on the beach book. It's phenomenal!
~Angie Gendreau

Rear View Mirror is an inspirational memoir that teaches the reader about the strength of one's spirit.

As I read this poignant tale I found myself in awe of the author's ability to face adversity with such resolution and humor.

This is a truly moving account of one person's struggle to persevere through loss and heartbreak and find confidence and peace within.

Following the roller coaster ride of the author's life, you'll find yourself laughing and crying-sometime simultaneously.

You'll become the author's biggest cheerleader and you'll look within yourself with the hope that you can find that same inner strength and peace that has carried her so far in life.
~Chasity Perkins.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rear View Mirror - Love lost at such a cost., April 5, 2007
Rear View Mirror is a true vision of lives left behind, a true love lost and of haunting memories. It reads like you are the one telling the story. You become the story teller and become the emotions that are so honestly laid before us. Cindy Callinsky does not hide behind veils or regrets and she lets her true soul shine throughout the book. Do not make the mistake of thinking that Rear View Mirror is "chick lit". Every page shows honesty and emotions that any soul can understand and appreciate.

5.0 out of 5 stars A definate read!, May 28, 2007
This is an autobiography of a very strong young woman learning the lessons of life and love. Cindy goes through many trials and tribulations in her life. The loss of her mother makes her family drift apart but it is Cindy and John who ultimately bring them back together. She finally finds her true love only to have been seperated by the war. When Jimmy comes home things are just not the same and both eventually move on in their lives. Cindy marries the man she does not really love and has a baby boy. The marriage is always on the rocks and ends in divorce. Cindy has loved and lost and has found many friends along the way in her life. This autobiography is very well written the author pours her heart and soul into her story. You feel as though you are living life along with her. I laughed as well as cried along with Cindy in this story, it truly is heart felt and is a must read for anyone feeling lonely in thier life.
