This is a beautiful illustrated hardback picture book for your little one or even just for you! The message is simple. Jesus is always with you and Jesus loves you more than even your parents can. It expresses the complete love of the parent for the child. The illustrations in this book are just gorgeous. I would like to purchase another copy of this book just so I can remove some of the pages and frame them for my wall.
This book was inspired by one of the author's child's diagnosis with a heart defect. One of the pages especially touched my heart. It says, "You are mine for a moment but you are His Forever His." I lost my middle daughter minutes after she was born to the birth defects caused by anencephaly. After carrying her for nine months and giving birth to her, she was literally only mine for a moment, but I was comforted by the belief that she went immediately from my arms into the arms of Jesus.
Also, being a foster parent who is hoping to adopt, it is always gut wrenching when a child that has been in my care is placed with a family member and leaves our home. It is comforting to know that no matter where that child goes, even though I can't be with them anymore, Jesus is always with them.

I recently purchased this book. My favorite thing about this book is the colorful and cheery illustrations. My one-year-old daughter's face lights up as we point at the flowers, animals, butterflies, leaves, bubbles etc. in the pictures and all the animals look so pleasant. For some reason she loves the picture with the bear yawning/stretching and she always wants to linger on that page and turn back to it. I also love the message that Jesus is always with my daughter and loves her more than I ever could. This book delivers a very important truths in a very straighforward way -- perfect for a young child.

I gave the book a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating because the punctuation, or lack thereof, in the book is a little odd. Also, the book starts off abrubtly with "In the night he is with you" so when I read it to my daughter I simply change the word 'he' to 'Jesus.' The first time I read the book I turned back to see if I skipped the first page. It's a little creepy for the first sentence to say "In the night he is with you" because a young child wouldn't really know who 'he' is intended to mean and if it's a good thing or a bad thing that 'he is with you.' :-)

For me personally I think it can be difficult to find kids books that I am happy with both the text and the illustrations but this is a book that I am very satisfied with and enjoy reading with my daughter before bed.

I really love the message behind this book, but it fails to hold our daughter's attention well. It's not the best written book out there, but I do like that it enforces that Jesus loves us more than anyone else possibly could.

I Couldn't Love You More, by Matt Hammitt and Jason Ingram is a book written not only as an expression of a parent's love for their child, but also to share with younger children about Christ's unconditional love for His children. Matt wrote the song, "I Couldn't Love You More" (Every Falling Tear) soon after his son, Bowen, was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare congenital defect. This book, beautifully illustrated by Polona Lovsin, is based on that song.

This over-sized book is filled with bright colorful illustrations of animals that are sure to delight any child. Simple sentences that are great not only for those shorter attention spans also make this book ideal for reading to a young child, or for a new reader to practice their skills on. Most important, though, is the message that assures the child not only of a parent's love, but that Jesus loves them! Another fantastic reason for wanting to purchase this book is that a portion of the proceeds are donated to Whole Hearts Foundation!! The opportunity to share the love of Jesus with a child you love, plus contribute to an organization that provides help for children suffering from congenital heart disease and their families.

My youngest daughter lives across the country on a military base with her husband who is a Marine. I hate having two of my grandchildren so far away and send them new books whenever I find good ones. This one got great reviews and I was excited for them to receive it. I also purchased it for my two grandsons who live closer because one of them is a heart baby. They love it!

Have you told your child today that you love him or her? Have you told them that Jesus loves them even more? A great way to share that message is through a simple little book -- I Couldn't Love You More by Jason Ingram & Matt Hammitt.

This book is based on the song by the same name and has delightful illustrations added for visual interest. It provides a wonderful opportunity for a mother (or father or grandparent) to share with her child the truth that even though "I couldn't love you more," there is someone who can . . . and that is Jesus! The few minutes it takes to look through the pictures and read the short sentences on the pages are certain to bring rewards worth many times the investment.

Matt Hammitt, lead singer of Sanctus Real, co-wrote this song after he found out that his son Bowen was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. It became part of an album where Matt shared many of his questions and emotions in dealing with that diagnosis.

This book was provided free of charge from Tyndale House Publishers for my honest review.
