One of the best pulmonary textbooks. I have read it almost from cover to cover. I used it to recertify for ABIM pulmonary exam. Very helpful. Many of the images/illustrations were similar to those that showed up on my examination.

I am a pulmonary/cc fellow and have been using this book as my primary text. It is wonderfully written with good clear explanations and sufficiently detailed without being cumbersome. It gives an excellent overview of all the topics. It is filled with illustrations, graphs and tables that improve the readability of the text. Many of the chapters are written by authors that are world reknowned in their fields. The only complaint I have is for a work of this magnitude it has several grammatical errors. Almost every other page! That is why 4 stars.

The quintessential textbook on pulmonary medicine. It is nice to have it in a small digital version rather than a large, heavy 2 volume set.

The reference to have at the patient bedside / room. I use it as needed. Have not read it cover to cover but use it daily as problems come up.

Excellent review. The display on iOS devices is good. They only allow it on 2 devices, though. That sounds reasonable to desk jockeys but limits those of us who are highly mobile and use a number of different mobile devices. Limiting access will come back to hurt you publishers. Just saying.
