Excellent text book offering a great introduction into semiconductors. Topics are organized to build on for further explanation of each step of the way. If you are looking for a source that explains the operation of transistors and other solid state devices, this is the book to have. As with all NJATC material, very well illustrated and questions at end of each section to ensure you that you you have understood the material. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn how solid state devices function and the circuits associated with these devices.
