JFK could only have been killed in one of three ways: by Lee Harvey Oswald, by a conspiracy, or by friendly fire.

Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock is skeptical of Oswald's alleged shooting feat. Hathcock was a former senior instructor at the U. S. Marine Corps Sniper Instruction School at Quantico, Virginia. He has been described as the most famous American military sniper in history. In Vietnam he was credited with 93 confirmed kills. Craig Roberts asked Hathcock about the marksmanship feat attributed to Oswald by the Warren Commission. Hathcock answered that he did not believe Oswald could have done what the Commission said he did. Added Hathcock:

"Let me tell you what we did at Quantico. We reconstructed the whole thing: the angle, the range, the moving target, the time limit, the obstacles, everything. I don't know how many times we tried it, but we couldn't duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did."

If a conspiracy killed JFK, Bobby Kennedy would have gone after the killers of his brother with the full powers of the federal government. Bobby had a national reputation as a ruthless and relentless investigator. There is absolutely no public evidence that Bobby Kennedy pursued an investigation for any alleged conspirators. In the Kennedy administration, Bobby was not only the attorney general, but was also acknowledged as the President's closest adviser. After JFK's death, he saw his duty as the protector of his brother's legacy.

On November 22, 1963, as the presidential motorcade drove slowly through Dealey Plaza, something caused a very loud noise. Most bystanders said it sounded like a firecracker. Some thought it was a cherry bomb or a backfire.

I won this on Goodreads, and was very eager to read it once it came in the mail. I recently have visited Dallas, and actually toured the Book Depository Museum and stood on the spot JFK was shot. I also stood on the Grassy Knoll. I wasn't alive during the time of the assassination, but have read a lot about it and like most people have been very intrigued. I have seen documentaries, read plenty of books, and watched the Zapruder film several times. This was a fairly unique take on the whole thing. A graphic novel version of the whole ordeal is genius. It opens up a whole new perspective as well as a completely difference audience. The information was straight forward and contained some new pieces of information I hadn't already heard before. This is definitely worth reading for anyone interested in the Kennedy assassination.

Ambitious project and you can tell the author did his time on the research. His conclusions are not earth shattering and come down to his take on the historic events. Who did it? Who didn't do it? And so on. I can't say I "agree" with the author but I respect and enjoyed this take on these historic events. I read the book the moment I got it. And liked it.
After reading over 50 books on this subject I have my own biased opinion on these historic events. Most people who lived through these events, have an opinion on what really happened to JFK.
This book will allow many people to be exposed to new ideas for the first time, which is a good thing. The art showcases both artists (on this book) at the top of their game. Art style is one of those personal choices we each make. I enjoyed the art in this book as I think it fit the content. It's a serious subject for sure.
