I ordered this book for my son as he needed it for a book report. The book is extremely interesting and focuses a lot on Teddy's adolescence. It was a little bit of a hard read for my third grader, not necessarily the words, but the content. He still managed to ace his book report, though. I would recommend this book, for sure.

I like this series of books. If I had to name a problem with any of Cheryl Harness books is the suggestion in "about the author" that other authors aren't as careful about facts and illustrations as she is. Otherwise, these are great books. And if you love Teddy Roosevelt, like some people I know, it's another way to show what a great man he was.
