National Geographic Kids books are great. The illustrations and photographs are amazing and the information they provide is set up in a way that keeps your children engaged and interested. They have small paragraphs and pop out boxes of facts over beautiful photographs and illustrations, instead of just a boring block of text. My girls love them and we have amassed quite a collection.

This particular book is about various Frogs that you can find all over the world. They talk about many things including the different colors of the frogs, the different sounds they make, the food they eat, and they talk about frog babies. My 6 year old loves learning the facts and reading the books while my 3 year old loves the pictures (she is a big fan of frogs and all the different colors are very interesting to her).

We have purchased many of the National Geographic Kids books for our collection and they are a big hit in our house. There are so many different books with various subjects that will appeal to any kid. These are highly recommended. If you haven't already, do your kids a favor and start their collection today.

My child loves frog stories. The book has colorful pictures and vivid descriptions. I even learned a thing or two. The book shows pictures of all kinds of frogs, from the smallest to the largest. Glad we bought the book!

A Kid's Review on April 15, 2011

Do you like frogs? Then you should read National Geographic Frogs!!!! One fact is the dancing frog dances because it lives around noisy waterfalls. The dancing frog dances to warn other frog of danger. Another good fact is the American bullfrog eats other frogs.
My favorite fact is how small the micro frog is. It is the smallest frog. It is as big as a fingernail.
I am recommending this book to 1st to 2nd graders because it's at their reading level.

We have so many of these books! We used these along with frog cake pops I made for favors for my sons 5th Birthday party. He had a reptile themed party and everyone LOVED it. Rather than a bunch of crap in a bag. Kids and Moms were excited to receive these!!

This is a fantastic start for young readers to build their confidence in reading. My 7 year old son did not want to put it down. The content was very well displayed and the pictures kept his interest.

I love the Nat Geo Kids books. The bright colors and illustrations keep their attention and the information is scientifically factual, but not over a kid's head and not boring. I enjoy reading them just for me!

This is a fantastic book. There are lots of different frogs (including one frog eating another frog), and the pictures are glossy and attractive. I gave it to my 3-year-old son for his birthday, and it's been one of his favorites. I think it made seeing a toad in our backyard even more interesting for him. I would definitely recommend.
