This is a VERY condensed version of her book. A little too condensed. Still cute and still gets the point across, but there is a little too much white space in the book. I used it to draw notes/doodles for the receiver of the book as a way to personalize it for them.

The format of this book is appropriate is perfect for my three year old nephew who begged me to read it to him several times before going to bed. The large print, colorful pictures and hardboard pages were easy for him to manipulate. Its just a feel good, happy book that help address common situations that people find themselves in. I would give this as a gift for an adult and also buy this book for a child.

This little picture book is a great book to share with adults and kids. The great thing about this book is that it explains things that one needs to be happy, and it's full of all those things that money just can't buy, in a way that anyone that picks this book up can understand.
The pictures used here are adorable and help highlight the points this book is trying to get across.
If you have time do read out this book, I doubt you will regret it! It is a fast, easy and full of those little things we sometimes forget on the high speed race of our daily life.

My sons are in love with the wonderful dog who delightfully teaches them the importance of being kind, curious and helpful. Just the other day my two year old jumped off the diving board and told me, "mommy I'm brave!", just as the little dog taught him to be. The illustrations are comical and inspiring, while evoking such vital life lessons for children and parents alike. Sheehan's adult version, "Be Happy", is also a must read. It has helped me endure the hard times and seize the triumphs. Sheehan is a treasure.

This little book offers rules for a happy life--example, Sing and dance a little--that are universally applicable yet understable by toddlers. Attractive presentation, delightful illustrations. Just right for my three year old granddaughter.

This is the new favorite book in our family! All my kids love it - even my tough boys, ages 4 and 6. They love the simple words they can read to their little sister and she loves talking about all the happy scenes. The illustrations make everyone giggle and the heart-warming messages make me feel good about what my kids are learning from the book. Every time we read it, the book spurs a different conversation for us - about the friends we love, the time we went to the fair, the new things we learn everyday. It really is great. I've now bought ten of them to have on hand for birthday presents! And the author's other books have been long time favorites for me too!Can't recommend it more highly...

Absolutely best book ever for kids and adults, makes you smile and giggle and brings great thoughts. Its a great tool for teaching simple life lessons to love life. I love this book its my favorite book! The kids LOVE this book. They love the simple words and the great illustrations, so happy and cute, they make everyone smile,giggle and Want to give the book to everyone I know.
