Very condensed of course but there is a good chapter on discrimination because of disability. I am not a legal student or a paralegal so I'll say the pretty direct style of writing was helpful to someone who doesn't know the jargon. A section in the second part of the book also helped me to identify the location of important statutes by reference to them. It gave me ideas to think about that I needed to be aware off, such as how to define disability. Something that may come into play in my situation where an employer disregarded a request for accommodation, in fact they acted like it didn't exist, it makes me wonder if they are going to challenge that I had a disability. This won't make you a lawyer but this together with a few other books I purchased are helping to prepare for this one event.

This is a required text for my Employment Discrimination class. I would recommend this text to anyone who uses the textbook "Cases and Materials on Employment Discrimination" by Zimmer.
