I am using this book in my first year Civil Procedures law class and find it very user friendly. It is laid out in an easy to find order and the outlining of this book is very useful. It is not nearly as heavy as any of my other law books, which is a huge plus, and I am definitely relying heavily on it to help me understand rules and concepts in the law. Buy this book!

At first glance this textbook seemed dry. I expected to read easy flowing paragraphs about how to file and follow up on civil claims. It's definitely not novel-reading material.

So, when I compared this book to the United States District Court for the Southern District of California procedures, "Federal Rules of Civil Procedure" became an excellent guide to what is expected of me, before, during and after court.

And by the layout of each page of this book, it is easy to hone in on what the specific rules, procedures and even definitions to support any federal case that you are determined to win.

I recommend this book to anyone who is willing to step into the federal courts system, armed and ready to resolve federal questions.
