So 3 stars because I can't say I like or love reading this book. It's dry material that's meant mainly for memorization of terminology...it's not going to be fun. I'm reading this book and if you need to read this book, it's because of a necessity and no other reason. In that way it does it's job and gives you pretty good techniques in basically learning a new language. It's not easy to do but it would be much more difficult without this book.

I would recommend this book to anyone for medical terminology. I got it for my LPN class. It has great review at the ends of each chapter and sections to make sure you truly understand and the answers are in the back if you don't know them or cant find them. good luck!!

It is pretty great textbook - on campus it would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than what I paid here at Amazon. It really does help learn the terms and parts of the anatomy. I am a nursing major and this is definitely helping me out. The online e-book is also pretty helpful with it's puzzles and quizzes as well.
