Awesome book! I got this for my mom to use with her solar cooker (the same one the author has, amazingly) and she's really excited. She'd invested in a solar oven BUT hadn't really used it because of the trial & error factor with adjusting recipes for a different way of cooking.

With this book, now mom can just cook.

I don't have a solar oven (yet) but will be getting one soon. In the meantime, the "disposable" oven Ms. Mazy included is just perfect.

starting to use a solar oven and this book is full of good tips and recipes. Takes the mystery out of it and encourages you to experiment and find what works best for your family and what you like to cook. Funny anecdotes as well....including her dog's favorite stolen meals. Refer to it over and over, the sign of a good book.

I really enjoyed this book as the recipes are shared from the family's use and experience. This was my first experience solar cooking. I've tried over 8 recipes with success and with advice from this book even customized some of my own.
