I was skeptical, given the fact that KK 7 was not my favorite installment of the series. I decided to give this a try before giving up & I'm glad that I did! The book is fast paced; has enough action to keep younger readers engaged while providing young at heart Disney fans an opportunity to seek out clues and visit the various venues mentioned in the book.

As one of the latter category of readers, I appreciate a Disney-based book that gives that glimpse into Disney history that "could be". Mr. Pearson's series of books, much like Jeff Dixon's Key to the Kingdom series, allows those to learn more about Disney history in such a way that it inspires us to learn more. Walt's legacy lives on in these books and encourages new readers to jump on the Disney bandwagon.

A great read - it won't disappoint KK fans! Can't wait for Volume 2!

I have been reading Kingdom Keepers since the first one came out; that was back before it was supposed to be a series. However, the book, because of outspoken fans, did indeed become a series. All of the books seemed to get more intense and also better as the series continued. When I heard the series was going to end I was devastated. This book changed all that (again due to outspoken fans), and brought it back better than ever. The only thing that I was not satisfied with this "spin-off" (It's really just a continuation of Kingdom Keepers under a different name), was It's length; it was significantly shorter than the last book in the series. The story overcomes that, however, in enthralling us once again in the world of the Kingdom Keepers.

Really quick read. Not enough action. The OT's were mentioned but only in small parts. Wasn't clear on where the story was headed and the plot seemed predictable and confusing at times with all the technical talk. There wasn't a climax and the story ends with an unfinished ending leaving you to have to wait another 4 or 5 years to continue when the next book comes out. However, the story does peak your interest while enduring the anticipation of what will happen when they cross over, but overall, the story seems weak. The book should have reached a good climax before ending with a weak conclusion resulting in a future follow up.

When I learned that Ridley Pearson was going to start a sequel series to his popular Kingdom Keepers books, I was hesitant to start it. After all, the original series was uneven, and I loved how that series ended. I wanted that to be the happily ever after for the characters. Eventually, I gave in to temptation and bought Disney Lands, the first book in The Return. I’m glad I did because now I’m hooked.

If you’ve missed the Kingdom Keepers series, I wouldn’t recommend you start here. Yes, this is the first in a new series, but in many ways it doesn’t feel like it. The characters are all the same, and they are still referencing the events of the previous books, so having that background is vital. So if you want to jump into the magic, go back to the beginning.

And magic is the right word. The Kingdom Keepers are five teens who cross into the Disney Parks in their sleep as holograms. No, it’s not all fun and games, however. They are on a mission to fight the Overtakers, a group of Disney villains determined to rule the park and destroy the magic. The books are filled with narrow escapes and dramatic action that will leave you turning pages in the fun setting of the Disney parks we all think we know and love. (Trust me, this series will make you look at a couple of rides differently.)

This new series opens a few months after the battle in Disneyland where the Kingdom Keepers finally defeated the Overtakers once and for all. All of the teens are getting ready to go to college and are trying to move on. Well, almost all of them. Finn is certain that the last message they received from Wayne is a clue to something more they have to do.

The book was good a little boring compared to the others but that's because the new story has to be set up.I really liked it though and so glad the story is continuing and I want the next one RIGHT NOW need to know what happens.

This book was good but, it was a little hard to get through. I love the kingdom keepers series and I can't wait to get the next book! I love how the book flashes through amanda & Jess to the keepers! I thought this book was really good.

This book was an amazing continuation of the series. One thing I always hated was the cliff hangers. This made it annoying to finish I started punching the couch in anger on how it ended. Ridley's endings always leave me wanting more. That is probably why he is such an amazing author. If I could say there was one thing to change it would for Ridley to write the next book soon so I do not have to wait have another book to read.
