As a free book its okay but this is essentially a wikipedia entry not a book. I'm not sure how it has this many great reviews but I hope you save your $6 and avoid this "book". There is zero value in this, It is 30 pages ....30. It is my own fault for not doing my due diligence. There are plenty of free ebooks (and Wiki's) with way more extensive (and useful) information.

I have a bit of experience in programming but have no idea of Arduino. The book suggested two Arduino models which are ideal for beginners: Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega. To have a grasp of Arduino, one must learn first the hardware and the software aspects.
Through this book, I learned a lot about hardware and software uses of this Arduino and also how to trouble shoot. It may seem so funny that I just learned all of this now but it’s true. I was really afraid to make experimenting because it may damage and lost everything. But I have to take the risk, to save time and have the best quality at work. Thanks..

I had never heard of Arduino, but it was on the list of recommended reads of my computing 101 class at Saylors.

What is Arduino? Arduino is an open-source computer hardware and software company, project and user community that designs and manufactures microcontroller-based kits for building digital devices and interactive objects.

This book tells you what it is, what its used for. Gives the information regarding two different models and the different features and specs. It put me in mind of a Raspberry Pi, but with some obvious differences once I read this book.

I'm using a raspberry pi 2 at the moment, and heard of arduino and wanted to try it. I still can't say which is better of the two but as I see it they're kinda the same in means of installation and programming. This book is yes for beginners. The instructions given are clear and easy to follow even to people who doesn't have any background in this field. The chapter that deals with the common mistakes is also a great help.
Been lucky to get a free ebook about windows 10. It's so generous for the author. Atleast now I can call cortana to do some work for me.

This technology is amazing and its unbelievable how it and others that were once only available to industry or the military is now available to the public at an affordable price. If you are a hobbyist or robotics enthusiast, or just someone fascinated by it all, you need this book!!! It is exciting to see how these technologies are evolving and how the people are the true innovators of this technology. I can't wait to see how far this stuff evolves and how robotics will play an ever increasing role in our day to day lives.

I've been interested in robotics for awhile but feel very much overwhelmed with all the information out there. This book is a good beginners guide. There are a few typos, but it didn't bother me too much. I still don't feel adept to go out and dive into robotics or micro computing but at least I understand a bit more of the language used within that industry. I'll definitely be getting more info on this subject and deepening my knowledge.

I've been researching different micro-controllers for a long time now. I am mostly interested in open source due to the ability of tweaking the software as I see fit. The ARDUINO controller is by far one of the best. And this book will teach you everything you need to master it. It's a great beginner's guide that covers all of the aspects of the system. Great book, highly recommended.

More of a pamphlet than a book. I was expecting more that a few dozen pages of basic terminology.
