Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
As a new library director who has been quickly immersed in the "What are we going to do about the archives?" conversation, I found this book useful. Not only does it speak to archives, both analog and digital, and the issues and specific suggestions for planning and carrying out the archival mission, but it also provides a good overview of the academic library as a whole and its place in the mission of academics and the function of archives.

I'd recommend it as a starting point or for further information about archives. Very useful, and one I'm keeping on my shelf for reference as we go through the archive formalization process.
