I loved the title of this book, and its contents were even better than expected. Each chapter gives you a plan for growing a creative garden, like a "Grow-in-the-Dark" garden, a "Spring Salad Bowl" garden, a Pickles & Peppers garden, etc. The book is thoughtfully laid out so it's easy to follow, with quick lists of what you will need, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions & recipes. It's got fun illustrations for kids. It's a great gift idea for parents & grandparents who'd love to share the fun of gardening with their kids, while be educational and growing your own food as well!

There are a lot of great and fun ideas in here for different layouts of gardens that kids and parents will both love. I like that they give a layout for if you plant in the ground or if you have limited space they have layouts for container gardens too.
