The book is a fun, easy read. It teaches in a comical way, but utilizes an actual project to help get its key points across. I would definitely recommend the book as well as the website to those like myself who are trying to grasp the concepts and ideas behind S88.

Just implementng PackML and modular programming on our line of food processing/packaging machinery. This book was written in an excellent format, geared toward informing everyone effected by use of ISA 88. I highly recommend this book......Wish I had purchased sooner.

This is first place to start when getting into S88 and batch control. The language is written so everybody in your organization can read it from the instrument tech, to the process engineer, to the plant manager.
The book helps clear up a lot the confusing nomenclature from the actual standard by using real world examples.
