Calling Cloony a "Great" movie star is like describing him as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Many people may want to buy this because of his leftist politics, and they would be disappointed.

Some may want to buy this as an informative narrative on the life of a man with no real education past high school (yes, he attended Northern Kentucky U, but like most things in his life, never completed the program). Again, the description of his life other than acting is simply not there.

This is yet another example of a book selling solely on the basis of a name. If you want to spend the money and take the time to read it, I'd say 99% of the books on Amazon are a better buy and a much better value for your time. I found the book boring, much like spending 16 straight hours watching re-runs of Cops.

I enjoyed the book, it gave a good insight into George Clooney. I also enjoyed the diary near the end with a rundown of George's life.
