was hoping to have a more detailed description on how to do certain maintenance jobs like coolant flush, change out shocks/struts, do a brake job and fluid bleed. The guide stops at very high level how to remove and assemble certain things, but takes quite a few steps for granted. the quality of the images are really poor and don't help much. I learned way more from the various online forums and youtube videos than I did from this book.

Most of the book is canned generic stuff that would apply to any car. Specifications are applicable but no electrical schematics or accurate information on the DME or Error Codes. I can get more useful information from a Google search. Perhaps they should do the same before they issue a new edition.

Specifications. witch was the reason for me to buy it.
I am very disappointed.
i needed; Specifications on torquing bolts, fuel pressure minimum and maximums specs,
spark plugs gap and meany other things .
You can have this book back I did not buy it to look at pictures.

this book leaves out very valuable information and tips for repairs to your car, not to mention the quality of the pictures is horrible. I would trust a teenager who knows nothing about cars to tell me how to fix mine over any haynes manual any day. if youre going to do work to your car, spend the extra money and buy yourself the bentley repair manual, its 100 bucks but trust me, well worth it, complete with good pictures, diagrams and breaks everything down barney style.

The pictures weren't all that helpful (low quality), the paper feels like an old newspaper from the 80s, and it just doesn't feel like a complete manual (there are parts where it actually recommends reserving the work for "certified BMW technicians"). There were several times where the pictures were present for the obvious parts and lacking in some of the more complex tasks.
