These are lovely quality, super thick, and printed in the same exquisite fashion as one typically expects from Cavallini. Only one of my three local stationery stores carries this brand so I was OK with paying the inflated price--over retail in my case. This is one of the rare occasions Amazon's price can be easily beat at a brick and mortar (at the time of my purchase).

These cards display vintage maps in beautiful muted tones but the variety isn't as stellar as I was hoping. Additionally, there's 2 of each card so you only receive 9 images. I understood this prior to purchase but if you're an avid Postcrosser seeking a fun variety, these aren't the best bet. I would have preferred my 9 images to all be world atlas style, but you receive close ups of individual countries like Italy, France, The British Isles.

I love a classic, true 4x6 sized postcard... but these are approximately a good quarter of a inch shy in both height and length. No biggie, but worth noting if you were expecting ANSI postcard dimensions.

Love the collectible tin and the quality. Variety, size, and price? Rather debatable in terms of Postcrossing purposes. But ultimately who can resist Cavallini?!

I love these postcards---the texture and color is perfect. Matte, not glossy. Sturdy paper. Pretty enough to put on a wall. They have the nice lil "carte postale" on the back. The maps are labeled in either German or English, depending on the design. I have used postcard stamps on these, and they definitely are within proper USPS postcard sizing. And they arrive in a cute tin, too. 2 each of 9 designs.

I love the maps. The cards are high quality - their thick and durable. I didn't realize when I ordered them that they didn't come with envelopes (my fault - I should have read more closely), but I picked up some inexpensive envelopes that fit nicely.

I will probably buy more of these again in the future.

I buy a lot of postcards to send frequent notes to my relatives across the country, who don't use the internet. These cards are the correct size for the less expensive postcard stamps (some larger postcards need a regular stamp), they're on good quality card-stock, and the drawings are beautiful. They're a bit more expensive than the various 100-card packs from other companies. I buy the 100-packs for daily use, and mix in a Cavallini postcard now and then.
