A nice little book bringing some basic pm skills to the team. Especially when you work with a lot of accidental project managers, providing a copy of this book besides some training will give them some basic tools to increase their chance for a successful delivery.

It uses a story and provides sufficiently practical examples for tools to be applied in daily life.

This guide brings many aspects together that are key to each project, yet comprise a complex collaborative initiative or set of initiatives with additional needs. Format: Spiral-bound
This was required reading in my Operational Analysis course as part of my MBA curriculum. The guide is well-structured, and for the most part topics are logically arranged in order of occurrence. Each chapter contains a short, issue-based agenda to help users quickly navigate to the relevant section. Throughout, APMMJ has several formatting conventions to aid the reader in quickly identifying examples/tips&tricks/add'l info/etc.

Limited versatility of the text limits a higher score, as APMMJ is much better as a carry-along, use-in-the-momemt guide than a teaching tool on project management techniques. The writing and explanations are very abstract/general, without any supporting specific examples to provide tangible details.
