I loved my 2013 Aubodon bird calendar so much that I was really keen on purchasing this one, however the cover image of the 2014 calendar features on July 23rd in the 2013 one, and as much as I love the beautiful, vivid photography showing our feathered friends in their splendid glory, and personality, I am wary of purchasing another one in case there are more double-ups.

After the year is through, I intend to keep all the images to use as references for my artwork. The size and clairty of the photographs, combined with their placement in the natural habitat, makes them ideal source material even beyond the year. There is a nice variety of species - although a few are repeated - with a selection of close-up portraits, full body shots and action shots, providing plenty to admire.

This is a good calendar for a birdwatcher like me. My only modest gripe is that I wish Audubon produced two calendars, one of North American birds and another exclusively of non-american species. Also many american species appear more than once, which is a bore.

The Audubon Birds Gallery Calendar 2014 y the National Audubon Society came fast. Everything looks good, but I will have to look for the repeat images I see another customer is warning about. I must have missed that. I also bought the flower calendar and there were no repeat images, but there were several images of the same few flowers. I think there were about 15 images of the Persian Buttercup and many, many of the same field flowers. Otherwise, I'm totally happy and I still give it a five star. The flower calendar was broken, so I couldn't.

Photos are sharp and clear -- and new every year! This is my third year and there are no repeats. The paper is high quality and the the photos are glossy. It's a fantastic value for the price. My only suggestion -- after the name of the bird, it would be great to know where that bird is from. But I suppose that's easily solveable with google.

My wife loved last years calendar, so I bought the 2014 version. We got to 17 January 2014 and then there was a two week (13 day) gap in the calendar. Because the pages get filled that is 26 days of pictures that were not included. Where is the Quality Control / Assurance department? Didn't anyone check that the calendar was complete? Apparently not.
