This medium format book is alot of fun for dog lovers. The photography is simply beautiful. They captured wonderful moments of these dogs with their toys. I especially love the picture of the pug Bugsy with his teddy. All of the stories that go along with these pictures really make the book a unique fun read for children and adults alike. Great gift for the doglover!

Our little dog has a toy that we call "Chunk A Monk". It originally was a gorilla until she bit off the legs, arms, and face and turned it into a furry ball. We then bought another Gorilla, the same kind, that we call "Monk A Chunk". She likes both of them and knows where they are in the house at all times. She is very attached to them and jumps up on her perch in the front window with one of them to show the work outside her prized possessions. This book just made us laugh.

Product arrived within the earliest timeframe mentioned on Amazon. Product was packaged adequately, and was in pristine condition when arrived. I have to admit, I am really happy with "Dirty Bow Wow: A Tribute to Dogs and the Objects of Their Affection". The book is exactly as shown on the website and was a delightful read once I had it. The picture qualities are amazing, and I think any dog lover and teddy bear owner would love this book. Totally would recommend it!

I love this book. The pictures are adorable, and reminded me so much of the dogs in my life- along with their beloved toys. I bought it as a gift for a friend. The little stories that go along with each picture had me laughing and thinking fondly of my pooches at home.

Dirty Bow Wow is like chiffon - sweet, tasty, and light but not heavy or overbearing. Fifty or so dogs, most if not all from the Boston area, are lovingly presented with warm, inspiring text and wonderful photographs. The bond between dog and the physical objects of their affections are conveyed with some of the best canine photographs you'll ever see. Seeing the joy such objects bring these handsome dogs, one can only imagine the depth of the bonds they have with their humans.

Looking for a present for a dog lover? This might be the one.

"Dirty Bow Wow: A Tribute to Dogs and the Objects of Their Affection" showcases 52 canine pets posed with their beloved play toys. Authors Cheryl and Jeffery Katz compiled this delightful book of "dirty bow wows" and dogs. Each page spread features an adorable portrait by photographers Hornick/Rivlin who performed miracles in capturing expression-filled dogs with their precious toys. A short, often humorous blurb accompanies each photo and brings insight to each dog's life. All sorts of dogs, the adopted strays and rescue dogs to the most highly pampered pedigrees, are gathered inside the glossy pages. Man's best friend has never looked prouder or more adorable.

A quick and enjoyable coffee-table worthy read, all dog lovers will find something to love when perusing "Dirty Bow Wow." In my household, lots of books fall into my hands and my hands alone. However, this book managed to become a family favorite. My preschool-aged daughter immediately fell for the Toy Poodle named Annie Goodman modeling her beloved chic Pink Purse toy. My husband, the discerning reader (so discerning he hardly ever picks up a book) read "Dirty Bow Wow" cover to cover and remarked on a number of dogs. Puggle Lucy nose-to-nose with her stuffed, earless Doggie won him over. She's pictured in the toy drive photo below. As a book reviewer, I am probably one of the only people who read the title page. I noticed a rather hidden photo of a Bernese Mountain Dog named Hogan displayed opposite on the frontispiece. Somehow this shy Hogan and his Rabbit did not make mention on the contents page so he wins my vote and makes mention here. Think you could find a favorite? Bet you could.
