About the Author

-Rabbi Howard A. Addison served as the last student assistant to Abraham Joshua Heschel and has trained with leading Enneagram practitioner Helen Palmer. Rabbi and spiritual leader of a large congregation, Addison was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He has studied at Fordham University, the Chicago Theological Seminary, and the Shalem Institute.

Rabbi Addison is also author of The Enneagram and Kabbalah: Reading Your Soul (Jewish Lights) and Show Me Your Way: The Complete Guide to Exploring Interfaith Spiritual Direction (SkyLight Paths).

This is excellent and rudimentary for those interested in the enneagram and its relationship to the Kabbalah. It is basic enough that one can read it with no pror knowledge and get and overview of both. Addison is very gentle as he introduces the enneagram, which is uncommon since the enneagram is base on compulsions. Addison provides an excellent introduction, although his other book on these two understanding is much more in depth and similarly gentle.
