Every photographer needs to know how to negotiate to be successful in marketing their services and skills, but most photographer's guides focus on technique and marketing and devote only cursory attention to the finer art of negotiating prices and terms. That's why it's important to have The Photographer's Guide To Negotiating in hand for any business proposal: chapters review good negotiation traits and strategies, discuss issues on stock photo sales, contracts and assignments, and provide in-depth interviews with experienced negotiators.

If u really want to maximize the potentials of your photographic talents and make it worthwhile for you financially, this book is a necessity. i ordered it because John Harrington recommended it and av been blessed tremendously... its definitely worth more than the price tag... Also recommend getting "Best Business Practices for Photographers" by John Harrington

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This unassuming book has more under the hood than you'd think. It covers negotiation but also a lot more including interviews with people who buy photography and photographers. The author takes the mystery out of how to negotiate, a skill any one can learn. Overall, for the money, a very valuable book.
